Ordering

 

1) In the Ithaca Office

 

An intraoral scan or impression is made of the upper arch. The impression is poured and a model is made or the scan is used to print a model with a 3d printer. The mouth guard is fabricated and finished. The patient returns for indexing and delivery.

 

 

2) In your local dental office*(see below for impression/model specifications)

 

A practitioner performs a scan and transmits an .stl file to www.ADMGea17@gmail.com at the Ithaca office or takes an impression and either pours it and sends the model, or if the impression material is poly vinyl siloxane, sends the impression via overnight delivery. The mouth guard is fabricated in the usual manner and returned to the originating practitioner for indexing and delivery.

 

 

3) On site capture

 

Special service and discounts for team orders. A practitioner or representative travels to the customer location and either performs a scan or takes an impression. The impression or scan is forwarded to the office for processing as above. The finished mouth guards are returned to the practitioner who indexes and delivers them to recipients at their site.

**Young athletes’ dentitions and mouths change - and they lose things! We will remake and replace a mouth guard that is lost or does not fit within the first year from purchase for any athlete under 18 years of age without charge.**

· Full depth of mucobuccal fold from #6 to #11

· Posterior to mesial marginal ridge of second molars

· Anterior palate to deepest area

· Send only polyvinyl siloxane impressions, or

· Models of  high quality die stone
